CALS 1840B Tape Maker delivers the processes needed for making a CALSMIL-STD-1840B 1/2" magnetic tape of multiple documents and files ofvarious data formats. It has an interactive editing capability forcontent-defining document declaration files and file headers specified byMIL-STD-1840B. CALS 1840B Tape Maker can read and write 1840A tapes.The CALS 1840B Tape Maker software module runs on any MS-DOS or UNIXhardware platform. A 1600 BPI magnetic tape drive is also required. Thesoftware module can be purchased with or without the workstation and tapedrive.
